Spring Birthday Lunch

Are You Ready For Spring?

I am! It is my favorite time of year.

As the weather warms up it was the perfect time to set the stage for a birthday lunch.

When your VBFITWWW ( very best friend in the whole wide world) has a milestone birthday you plan a special celebration.

We were supposed to go to Vegas. (her idea).

Well 2020 happened quite differently than we planned, and sometimes this thing called life gets in the way of best laid plans.

As Spring approaches and the weather is warming up we were able to reschedule a birthday lunch.

This beautiful pink tablescape ( my idea) was absolutely perfect for a girls luncheon.

The beautiful tablescape started with Dascoli table linens. They are handcrafted by traditional experts. The embroidery is enough to make you feel out of this world, or that you have been transported to a remote vacation space.

The details give such a feeling of luxury.

With these views it was easy to forget about everything else.

The beautiful floral tablecloth comes in a variety of sizes and has so many colors you can style it a million different ways.

The placemats have the most gorgeous stitching.

I think that detail is what caught my eye when I first saw them.

Pretty in pink the rosebud detail continues on the Garden Party napkins.

I mixed the Ginori 1735 plates in 2 shades of pink. They look fabulous on the table and mixed with all the colors of the rainbow. Shop KWS has all the colors.

Many thanks to my friend, Ed Libby for his creative direction.

He styled these flowers just beautifully.

The details he added to the tablescape take it to the next level.

He has the magic touch!

I love how he draped the napkin just right with this Kim Seybert blush napkin ring.

You get to see all the rose details on the Dascoli napkin.

Honestly sitting with this landscape you just immediately relax and you could close your eyes and the smell of orange trees could easily put you in a European countryside too!

This soft and pretty palette was grounded with traditional European inspired bamboo flatware from Sabre. Mixing stemware and candlesticks tipped in various colors gives even more depth. Lots of candlelight and color can uplift anyone's mood!

You know you're very best friends when your very own tell you what your going to make for lunch:). Seriously, I would only want to make it something special for the guest of honor. while we were only 4 I wanted to personalize and enhance lunch with special touches.

I asked The Neeshe Illustrator to design something special for the menu.

These menus and placecards were the inishing touch to the table.

Aren't these menus and placecards. gorgeous??!

She enhanced one of her notecard designs and really got it perfectly! Inspiration for the menus cards was taken from the Dascoli linens.

These are available for custom order with your own menu or sold blank so that you can personalize at home. The cards are fabulous used as notecards as well.

I wanted this to be a total relaxing day. Adding luscious silk and velvet pillows to the chairs certainly says "sit back, relax and enjoy yourself!

This peach and pink style is one of my favorites from The Turkish Towel Collection.

The colors are soft and pretty and were the perfect accessory and final touch to this tablescape. Turkish towel Collection offers a square style that would work wonderful on a couch or bedroom as well. The rectangle lumbar style fits perfectly in a dining chair.

I hope this year will bring many happy occasions and memorable milestones for you and those you love. Happy Spring! I hope next week will be filled with lots of sunshine for you and those you love!
